"Rebirth Garments are gender non-conforming wearables and accessories for people on the full spectrum of gender, size and ability. Every piece is made to order and is tailored to your exact specifications. Garments are fully customizable and there are no standard sizes.

Rebirth Garment’s mission is to create gender non-conforming wearables and accessories for people on the full spectrum of gender, size and ability. The line creates a community where all people can confidently express their individuality and identity. Our identity is that of QueerCrip, a politicized umbrella term that encompasses queer, gender nonconforming identities, visible and invisible disabilities/ disorders—physical, mental, developmental, emotional ect. In particular, our trans* and disabled communities have very particular clothing needs that are not adequately served by mainstream clothing designers. Instead of being centered on cisgender, heterosexual, white, thin people, Rebirth Garments is centered on QueerCrip people.

Rebirth Garments challenges mainstream beauty standards that are sizest, ableist, and conform to the gender binary. Instead, we maintain the notion of Radical Visibility, a movement based on claiming our bodies and, through the use of bright colors, exuberant fabrics, and innovative designs, highlighting the parts of us that society typically shuns. Through Radical Visibility, we refuse to assimilate and can create a QueerCrip dress reform movement.

Lunapads

Yesterday was the first day of my #period which is typically pretty miserable, but @lunapads brightened it up with one of my new pads in their new print, Foxtrot! This is their Mini size, and you can find it here: 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 http://lunapads.com/mini-pad 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 Yesterday was a light to medium day, but it could have taken more. This size works very well for me as a petite person and sans-insert, functions great as a liner if you worry about bladder leaks or have a lot of discharge.☁️☁️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 If you don't get periods, Lunapads carries many other products that are perfect for you to #treatyourselfkindly. ☁️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 If you do buy something, don't forget to enter in the codes in the photo at checkout for 5% off! Also, I have a video coming your way soon, but I don't know when I can upload because I am sans-wifi. ;-;☁️☁️☁️ 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 PS: I know, I'm officially spammy about this now, but I really want to give you $50. (It does not benefit me in any way. If I get to see your smiling face in a post because you made the switch to #reusablemenstrualproducts and proudly announced that you too #ditchthedisposables, that will be my reward!) Seriously though, check out the first post under the tag #DitchTheDisposablesWithFrillAbility to learn how you could win $50 to shop at Lunapads.com! Tune in tomorrow to learn more about why reusables are so great, especially for #spoonies / those of us with #chronicillness and have periods!☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️ 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 #chronicallyfabulous #loveyourperiod #bodypositive #menstrualcycle #chronicpain #ecofriendly #lunapads #LunaPadsAmbassador #frillability #bloodywarriors

Today I received a really great question for this week's (not just today, I decided!) theme of posts: how reusable products are ~especially~ helpful for those of with #chronicillness / who are #spoonies / in the #disability community. ☁️ Bladder leakage and incontinence are concerns for many of us and potentially a really embarrassing thing to talk about. It's certainly not a fun issue to deal with. When we start losing control of our bodies, it often effects us psychologically and even socially. Who do we talk to outside of our doctors? What kind of options are there that don't look like your typical Depends and that don't have the harmful chemicals of disposables? ☁️ It seems like mainstream media believes the only people who deal with this issue are of a particular age group and that age group doesn't care about style. Both are so incorrect! There are many reasons why one might experience bladder leakage, and quite frankly, it is miserable enough to be dealing with it...why do we have to deal with an awful product that, on top of potentially harming us, makes us feel less-than. ☁️ For light to moderate bladder leakage, Lunapads has you covered! In this video, I talk about few potential options that could work for you. Not mentioned here, but also great are also the Lunapanties line! ☁️ Find the product links and helpful information mentioned from the video below! Watch for all of the details! ☁️ [Note: I am an Ambassador of Lunapads.com. My opinions are my own and do not necessarily represent those of the company. ☁️ Sorry, I couldn't upload in HD. :( My Internet is limited.] ☁️ http://lunapads.com/long-pad ☁️ http://lunapads.com/postpartum-pad ☁️ http://lunapads.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Performa ☁️ http://lunapads.com/learn/tips/lunapads ☁️ http://lunapads.com/learn/getting-started-guide/how-to-choose ☁️ #lunapads #LunaPadsAmbassador #menstrualcycle #ecofriendly #bodypositive #health #spoonie #chronicallyfabulous #period #disability #sustainableliving #frillability #MakeGoodWithYourAbility

@target @targetstyle After doing some math derived from Playtex's statistics about the number of cases of #TSS in the United States every year (1 to 17 in 100,000) and the population of the US in 2014 (318,900,000), I calculated there are approximately 3,184-5,421 cases of TSS in the US every year. That's only what is reported. For this reason and more, people have decided to #ditchthedisposables and #choosecloth. For many of us, this decision encouraged, #loveyourperiod and furthermore, #loveyourbody. ☁️💕☁️💕☁️💕☁️💕☁️ ☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️ #Target, I challenge you to be a part of the movement. Be there for us from puberty to menapause and for every other use. Eliminate the risk for TSS (cloth pads offer no risk), help people with #chronicillness stop suffering from symptoms that disposable tampons and pads specifically cause, give the earth a break, help people spare some change in the long run, and you can even help give to those in need in #Africa with the #Pads4Her program. Start by stocking @lunapads. Learn more about my journey and about pads here: bitly.com/ditchthedisposables (blog) and bitly.com/treatyourselfkindly (vlog, watch on desktop)💕 ☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️⭐️☁️ For complete product information, visit www.lunapads.com. If you'd like to see #clothpads at @target, comment here and let them know! Let's bring the #clothrevolution to them! #health #spoonies #frillability #lunapads #iheartguts #ovadorable #pinkhair #wheelchair #makegoodwithyourability #lunapadsattarget
